Makeup Revolution Reloaded Newtrals 2 Eyeshadow Palette

Hi lovelies!

Today I have a Makeup Revolution Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette in Newtrals 2. I have to say, I don't think I have even been so impressed with an eyeshadow palette for £4! Absolute bargain! But let's have a look at it in more detail.

The product: I fell in love with the colours as soon as I saw the palette online. Reds and browns and any variations of them are right up my street. However, me thinking it was only £4 I was not expecting a lot in terms of pay off. How wrong was I, please? The shades are buttery and very pigmented! Almost all swatches are done with one swipe. I also love the fact that almost all shades are matte (only four shades are shimmery/satin). Love, love, love!

Ease of use: I've been testing various shades for the last few days and all of the ones I wore are very buttery making it easy to apply and blendable. I also used a couple of the colours with a wet brush and that helped with the intensity of the shades. I didn't experience any fall out and with primer they lasted for solid 10 hours. What's not to love?!

Overall: I love it so much I am already thinking of purchasing more Reloaded palettes. To me, it's a great, great product. I just don't understand how Makeup Revolution can make such a good palette for such a good price! It's £4!! You can either buy it from superdrug and directly from tam beauty website. Love, A x

Paul & Joe April in Paris 2018 Spring Creation

Hello beauties!
Every year, I buy Paul & Joe Spring Collection (spring right, in January - wishful thinking I know!)  and every year I get mesmerised by their packaging and fall a little bit more in love with Paul & Joe as a brand. The new creation is called "April in Paris" and features three new shades of lipstick, three new lipstick cases, six new face & eye colours, three new Compacts, three new nail colours and a UV lipstick.
And this is what I bought:

First, we have Paul & Joe Face & Eye Color CS in French Pop. Three gorgeous face colours (mine are going to be used as blushers!) and they look like old school vinyls! So cute! The shades are: powder pink, fuchsia pink and peachy pink. The shades are really pigmented and they last for a full day on my face (with some fading after 5 hours). I feel like with every collection, Paul & Joe keeps getting better and better with their pigments! My only worry is that they are paper thin - the pigment itself is pressed on the paper inside "the vinyl" so I am not sure how long they will last for... However, there is three of them so plenty to keep me going!...

Next up, we have the compacts. If you are not familiar with Paul & Joe, they sell both of their face colours and lipstick cases separately and then you buy your pigments / lipstick shades to slot into the packaging. The compacts I purchased are 016 (Cat Faces) and 018 (Pretty Cat).

I also purchased two lipstick cases to match the compacts and a lipstick in Saint-Garmain. The lipstick is a bright red in a bullet, however it's a clear / shiny finish so it has a hint of red when applied. It lasted about an hour on me before I had to re-apply. The formula is moisturising and very comfortable to wear.

I also purchased two other shades of Paul & Joe lipsticks (permanent shades) to slot into my cases and I swatched them all for you:
Paul & Joe Lipstick N in 203 Petite Princess (medium finish) and 302 Rose Chinoise (full pigment)

Hope you enjoyed this! Let me know if there is anything else you would like to know about this collection. Love, A xx

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette Review, Swatches, Thoughts

Happy New Year my lovelies! First post of 2018... and what an exciting one!
Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Palette... finally! I kid you not, I nearly peed myself a little bit when I finally was able to place an order on Beautybay (it keeps going out of stock)! I wanted it since it first launched (impossible task as it was pretty much sold out as soon as it appeared on beautybay) and then kept missing it when it was back in stock. So you can understand my excitement a little bit ha!
So is it worth your pennies?.... let's find out!
Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette
Packaging: White, cardboard, magnetic, sturdy case. Not amazing but not bad either. Not sure how it will behave over time but I always prefer it when brands put the effort and quality into the actual product not the packaging.  I've seen many reviews where people didn't like it because it gets dirty but I'm like hello..? Have you ever seen Nars cases? So this baby is just fine!

The product: Omg where do I start?? The palette looked soo pretty when I opened it I really didn't want to swatch it and destroy the prettiness but oh boy!... I was really, really impressed. The shades were applied to my hand without any primers and I hope you can see how intense the pigment is! All shades are so buttery and so intense! I absolutely love all the colours and I wish I could wear them all day every day! (I would probably need more than one face!) Full marks for the pigmentation!

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette: Swatches Enlight, Beam, Silk Creme, M.F.E.O., Faint, Sissy,Little Lady
Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette: Creamscicle, Butter, Pooter, Pukey, Hunts, Firework, Queen
Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette: Obsessed, S.B.N., Hillster, Roxanne, Jacz, Buns, Cranapple
Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette: Royalty, Twerk, Hustle, Meeks, 24/7, Chip, Mocha
Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette: Pool Party, Jada, Diva, Enchanted, Central Park, Soda Pop, Abyss

Ease of use: I wore Silk Creme, Pooter, Pukey, Central Park, Soda Pop and Obsessed today and all of the shades were very easy to apply and were bendable. Like you don't need to be a pro to blend out these babies (sometimes with mattes it's hard work!). The only a little bit, teeny tiny downside is that there was some fallout from the darker shades. But nothing major and to be honest, it could be the way I applied the shadows or didn't tap off the excess well enough. The shadows lasted on me for 10 hours (with primer) and they almost looked as good as new! Very impressive!

Overall: Only one word: awesome. I really do love it. I've got a feeling it will become my most used product of 2018. If you do want to buy it you can via BeautyBay (out of stock at the moment) or you can also buy it on the Morphe website (in stock). It's £37. Love, A xx
